Returns & Exchanges
- Returns and exchanges are possible within 30 days of purchase, with proof of purchase.
- Sale items and gift cards are non-refundable.
- Any other scenario will be considered at the sole discretion of Katie Kismet, but your happiness is important to me, so reach out if you have a question!
Returns and Exchanges
I want you to love your Katie Kismet item but if you don't, I'll happily process a return or exchange within 30 days of purchase. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately I cannot process a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be in the same condition in which you received it. Gift cards are non-returnable. To complete your return, I require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Once your return is received and inspected, I'll send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your return. If you are approved, then your refund or exchange will be processed.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. I recommend using USPS First Class Mail with tracking.
Depending on where you live, shipping times for returns and exchanges may vary. Katie Kismet cannot guarantee I will receive your returned item and cannot be held responsible for issues related to the return shipping process.
Once your item has been received and inspected, and you're approved for a refund, then your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
If you haven’t received your refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is processed and posted. Next, contact your bank to inquire. If you’ve done all of this and you still haven't received your refund yet, contact me.
Unfortunately I don't issue refunds or exchanges for sale items. Only regular priced items may be refunded or exchanged.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a store credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift card will be emailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, I will send a refund to the gift giver. Note that the necessity of this process means the gift giver will end up aware of your return.
I'm happy to replace items if they arrive damaged. Note that I may require photographic support prior to process a replacement. If you're replacing a defective item for the same design, the replacement item will differ slightly due to the one-of-a-kind nature of handmade products.
